Keeping alive the traditions of excellence and awarding the high academic achievers, DLDAV Model School  Pitampura held its Annual Prize Distribution Function on Wednesday, 3rd  April, 2019 .

It was an endeavour to acknowledge and award students for their continuing saga of glorious achievements in the School Examinations for the Academic Year Session 2018-19.

The students of class V  in the session 2018-19 (now in Class VI)were awarded with trophies.  All the other prize winners of classes III and IV (now in IV &V) were also felicitated by Principal Madam. It was a proud moment for all the prize winners.

Aarav Gupta was also appreciated and appauladed by Madam Principal for his outstanding achievement in National Astronomy Challenge 2018 .

TOPIC:- Healthy Me

AIM:- To make students understand the concept of "Being Healthy" by illustrating themselves through puppets.

OBJECTIVES:- 

This activity helped to  develop an understanding regarding the importance of being healthy among the students. 

Exchange of views allowed them to create a better understanding about own self.

WORLD HEALTH  DAY 

A short power point presentation was shown . The main aim was to acquaint the students with the theme , aims & objectives of World Health Day.

FOUNDATION DAY

This is a special day when the entire school family has a chance to reflect not only the beginning of the school and its founders, but also on the significant development since the inception.

It is a day set aside to celebrate our history and revisit and reconnect with the continuing journey of the school.  We celebrate that we are blessed with a great leader Our Madam Principal , best infrastructure  and wonderful faculty.

We celebrate the joy of learning as we develop our mind, body and spirit.

The school ushered in its 38th  Birthday with a grand celebration.

Theme : Mahatma Hansraj  Diwas

The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the Mahatma Hansraj  Diwas . 

         To mark the importance of this day the students  presented short skits  on the life and principles of Mahatma Hansraj

The assembly commenced with a melodious mantra ucharan in Sanskrit followed by a skit depicting the life history and ideals of Mahatma Hansraj. An enthralling dance performance paying tribute to Mahatma  Hansraj was presented by the students .he colorful attire and enthralling performances were appreciated by  Principal madam , teachers and all the students of class VI.

EARTH DAY  CELEBRATION

CLASSES - IV-Vi

22nd April, Earth Day, which was observed at DLDAV Pitampura, is about appreciating the uniqueness of our planet Earth, while at the same time, educating ourselves about what we have and what we are losing by acting in ways that aren’t environmentally friendly.

The students  expressed their concern for planet Earth by making posters , power point presentations and writing slogans.

All the students also wore hand puppets and head gears which was a delight to watch.

Small skits and presentations were also based on protecting our species which is also the theme on Earth Day 2019.

Class 4 life skill activity... THEME : Compassion...our first instinct...Students learnt that we should be caring and loving for other.

CLASS V THEME : EMPATHY

One of the most important social skills involved in bullying prevention is empathy––understanding and responding with caring to what others think and feel. A health walk  was a part of the Earth Day celebration. The students zealeaously participated in the walk. The beautiful head gears were a delight to watch. 
The students presented skits and nukkad natak with the central theme Save Mother Earth. Tuesday 30 the May 2019 , will be marked as a memorable day at

D L D.A.V Pitampura , for the members of the student body who took the oath to lead  their institution to greater heights.

The newly invested Head Boy, Shaurya Shandilya and Head girl Anushka dahiya  expressed a sense of gratitude for the honour bestowed on them and promised to work towards the fruition of the goals and responsibilities expected of them.
