National Reading Month Celebration

In commemoration of CBSE’s National Reading Month, DLDAV Model School, Pitampura curated a vibrant literary experience for students of Classes IV to VI on 4th July 2025, with the aim of nurturing a lifelong love for reading and self-learning.

The day commenced with the DEAR Activity (Drop Everything and Read), wherein students dedicated half an hour to silent, uninterrupted reading, delving into their favourite books across genres—fiction, non-fiction, and children’s literature. The activity fostered imagination, concentration, and reflective thinking among young learners.

Students then took the Reading Pledge, pledging to make reading a regular and joyful habit, and to inspire others to discover the power of books.

The event was marked by a strong sense of enthusiasm and literary curiosity, further ignited by the motivational words of Principal, Mrs. Anupama Sinha, who emphasized the profound role of reading in shaping curious, empathetic, and visionary individuals.

The event also received heartfelt encouragement from Supervisory Head, Mrs. Ritu Mahajan, who applauded the students’ active participation and highlighted the enduring joy and enlightenment that books bring to our lives.

  NOVEMBER 2024             SPORTSMANIA         CLASS V  DATE: 8.11.24 DLDAV Pitampura ,organized Sports Day, SPORTSMANIA, for the students of class V, on November 8,2024.The event began with the rhythmic beats of the school band, filling the atmosphere with excitement and setting the stage for a thrilling day.
