TEACHERS' DAY CELBRATIONS

DL DAV Model School Pitampura celebrated Teacher’s Day with enormous gusto and gaiety to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. 

Several activities were conducted on 4 September wherein the students expressed their gratitude towards their teachers by making beautiful handmade cards and bookmarks for their teachers. These enthusiasts wrote amazing quotes and heart touching notes which left the teachers amazed. The students expressed their gratitude towards their teachers with some colourful and creative bookmarks. The entire school was permeated with happiness and was abuzz with activities on Teachers’ Day.


Thank you for inspiring me to believe in myself and to never give up on my dreams!        





5 September 2023, the day began with the auspicious chanting of the DAV Gaan, followed by a speech by Madam Principal in which she addressed all the teachers. In her speech she shared her vision and ideals with the teachers to inspire and guide them. She laid emphasis on striving hard and paving the way for achieving new benchmarks.

A fun-filled cultural programme consisting of a medley of all old songs – the all-time favorites and the modern popular tunes; and a variety of dances. A short presentation by the office staff was a treat to watch. The icing on the cake was the Antakshari , which was enjoyed by all .The day came to an end with a sumptuous feast .

CLASS ASSEMBLY VD & VE

Morning assemblies provide the platform wherein  the  students get an opportunity  to participate and showcase their abilities. Be it  delivering speeches, reciting poems, enacting skits or performing in cultural activities The students of classes VD & VE participated with  great zeal and enthusiasm .

VD:Desh Bhakti- Ek Tapasya,Ek Janoon :  The stories of unsung heroes.

The main aim of the assembly was to Value the great deeds of the Unsung heroes of the  Independence struggle. 

VE : First satyagraha movement of India (Indigo).
The theme of the assembly was  "The Champaran Satyagraha of 1917 " which was the first Satyagraha movement led by Gandhi in India and is considered a historically important revolt in the Indian Independence Movement.
