Commendation Ceremony 2025

The Commendation Ceremony, held on 2 April 2025, was a proud celebration of our students' dedication and growth. We recognized the achievements of Class 5 students stepping into Class 6 and Class 4 students advancing to Class 5. The event began with a warm welcome, followed by an inspiring address by our Principal, Mrs. Anupama Sinha, who encouraged students to face new challenges with enthusiasm and confidence. Medals and trophies were awarded to acknowledge the students’ perseverance and excellence, filling the atmosphere  with cheers and applause.

The Orientation Programme at DLDAV Model School, Pitampura, was organized to warmly welcome  parents to the new academic session. The event served as a platform to introduce the school’s vision, ethos, and academic framework, ensuring a smooth transition for all.

Our Principal, Mrs. Anupama Sinha, addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the school and parents in nurturing young minds. The session familiarized parents with the curriculum, teaching methodologies, and co-curricular activities designed to support holistic development.

The Orientation Programme concluded on an encouraging note, setting a positive and enthusiastic tone for the journey ahead.                        HEALTH DAY ACTIVITY

DLDAV Model School, Pitampura Celebrates World Health Day 2025

To mark World Health Day on April 7, 2025, students of Classes IV to VI at DLDAV Model School, Pitampura actively engaged in a host of activities designed to raise awareness about health, safety, and emergency readiness. 

The young learners showcased their enthusiasm by creating customized first aid kits, thoughtfully selecting essential medical items while learning about their significance. They also prepared health emergency scenario cards, sparking interactive discussions on how to respond effectively to common accidents and medical situations.

Adding depth to the celebration, a dynamic PowerPoint presentation was conducted, emphasizing the principles of healthy living and the need for a proactive approach to health and well-being.

The event not only fostered important life skills but also inspired a sense of responsibility, critical thinking, and empathy among the students, making the day a memorable blend of learning and creativity.

 Foundation Day Celebration

DL D.A.V. Model School, Pitampura celebrated its Foundation Day, cherishing a rich journey that began on 12th April 1981. Founded on strong values and a commitment to excellence, the school continues to inspire generations.

To mark the occasion, students participated in a range of creative activities.
Class IV students designed vibrant bookmarks with messages of gratitude.
Class V students created symbolic Mashaals (torches), highlighting the teachings of Swami Dayanand Saraswati and Mahatma Hansraj on truth, equality, and enlightenment.
Class VI students illustrated a magnificent Banyan Tree, each branch reflecting important values for building a respectful classroom community.

                                                       E-Board Presentation – Jallianwala Bagh

An informative and thought-provoking E-board presentation on the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre was conducted for students of Classes IV to VI. The display highlighted the tragic incident that took place on 13th April 1919 in Amritsar, Punjab, where innocent lives were lost during a peaceful gathering on the occasion of Baisakhi.

The presentation outlined key facts in a student-friendly format, helping young learners understand the importance of the event in India’s freedom struggle. Students learned about General Dyer’s ruthless order to open fire, the impact on the Indian freedom movement, and how this incident ignited the spirit of unity and resistance among Indians.

The visual elements and concise explanations helped simplify this sensitive historical event while encouraging critical thinking and emotional connection.                                                                      





 WORLD HERITAGE DAY 2025

                                                                                        

On the occasion of World Heritage Day, students of Classes IV to VI participated in an enriching E-board presentation designed to highlight the value of protecting our cultural and natural heritage. The session focused on raising awareness about the importance of historical sites and the role they play in connecting us to our history and identity.

Students explored the meaning of World Heritage Sites and discussed how these sites help preserve traditions, stories, and lessons from the past. With vibrant visuals and engaging content, the presentation encouraged curiosity and a sense of pride in our rich legacy.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2025


Junior Wing Investiture Ceremony
Date: April 17, 2025

The Junior Wing held its Investiture Ceremony on April 17, 2025, to formally induct the newly elected student council members. The ceremony celebrated the spirit of leadership and responsibility among young learners, as sashes were presented to the council members.   

Principal Mrs. Anupama Sinha addressed the gathering, inspiring students to lead with integrity and dedication. Supervisory Head Mrs. Ritu Mahajan congratulated the council and encouraged them to uphold the school’s values and be role models.                                 MAHATMA HANSRAJ  DIWAS
                                 DATE: 19 APRIL 2025

The students of Class VI enthusiastically participated in the Mahatma Hansraj Day Celebration, held to honor the life and contributions of Mahatma Hansraj, a visionary educator and founder of DAV institutions. The celebration aimed to instill values of simplicity, service, and sacrifice among young learners.

The highlight of the event was a series of short skits performed by the students, depicting significant episodes from the life of Mahatma Hansraj. Each group showcased a different phase, from his early days as a dedicated student to his commitment to education .                                                                                  



                                                                                    

  HEALTH WALK
CLASS : VI
DATE: 19.4.25

Class VI students celebrated Earth Day with an engaging campaign that featured a Health Walk and a powerful Nukkad Natak (street play) promoting environmental awareness and well-being. The day began with an inspiring address by Principal Mrs. Anupama Sinha, encouraging students to become eco-champions and lead the way in protecting the planet. Wearing colorful headgear and holding creative placards, the students participated in a lively walk, spreading messages of sustainable living and healthy habitsAt the Pitampura Police Station, students performed a street play highlighting key issues like pollution, climate change, and harmful practices, leaving a strong impact on the audience. Special thanks to Mrs. Ritu Mahajan for her excellent coordination and dedication that ensured the success of the event.

Earth Day 2025: Young Voices, Greener Choices
22 April 2025

Students of Classes IV to VI celebrated Earth Day with creativity and commitment, showcasing their awareness and responsibility towards the environment.

Principal Mrs. Anupama Sinha encouraged students to voice their concerns for the planet, while Mrs. Ritu Mahajan, Supervisory Head, efficiently guided the planning and execution of the activities.

Class IV focused on endangered species through vibrant puppets and masks, spreading awareness with powerful slogans.

Class V addressed microplastic pollution, presenting heartfelt message cards titled “Our Appeal to Society – Save Us.”

Class VI promoted sustainability and climate action through impactful posters under the theme “Our Power, Our Planet.”

The event reflected young minds making meaningful choices for a better, greener future.
